Delemere Dash
Today I ran the 6 mile “Delemere Dash” trail race in Cheshire’s Delemere Forest on a crisp but sunny winter sunday. I came 48th in approx. 42 mins, so roughly a 7 minute mile pace. The results are currently here. I’m fairly happy with my performance, but think I could have done better, having managed to get a stitch after the first mile and not really recover. Was a splendid reason to get up on a cold morning. Despite the frost there was still a great deal of mud to contend with, so my trainers joined me in the bath later. Miles run = 6.
